Returns & Exchange Policy

At Fowler Firearms of Texas, all sales are subject to federal and Texas law. Please review our policy carefully before completing your purchase.

All Sales Are Final on Firearms

Due to the nature of firearms sales and applicable federal and state regulations:

    • All firearm sales are final.

    • No refunds or returns on firearms once the transfer is completed, including handguns, rifles, shotguns, or receivers.

    • Firearms that have been transferred through an FFL cannot be returned for refund or exchange.

Special Orders – No Returns or Cancellations

    • All special orders are final.

    • No returns, refunds, or cancellations on special-order firearms, accessories, optics, ammunition, or custom items.

    • A special order is any item not normally stocked or ordered specifically at the customer’s request.

    • Deposits on special orders are non-refundable.

Defective Firearms

    • If a firearm is found to be defective, it must be handled directly through the manufacturer’s warranty.

    • Fowler Firearms of Texas does not exchange or refund firearms for manufacturer defects but may assist with warranty contact information as a courtesy.

Non-Firearm Merchandise

The following items are eligible for exchange only, at management’s discretion:

    • Accessories, apparel, and gear may be exchanged within 7 days of purchase

    • Items must be:

        • Unused

        • In original packaging

        • Accompanied by the original receipt

No refunds on non-firearm merchandise.

Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

    • Ammunition

    • Optics (scopes, red dots, sights)

    • Holsters

    • Magazines

    • Clearance or sale items

    • Installed parts

    • Any item showing signs of use

Background Check & Transfer Fees

    • Background check fees, transfer fees, shipping fees, and special handling fees are non-refundable.

    • Denied or delayed background checks do not qualify for a refund.

Customer Responsibility

    • Customers are responsible for ensuring the firearm or item selected meets their needs before purchase.

    • Please inspect all merchandise prior to completing the transaction.

Policy Enforcement

    • Fowler Firearms of Texas reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges that do not meet this policy.

    • This policy is subject to change without notice.
